Brian Foxworth, MD

Portland’s own Brian Foxworth is a powerhouse drummer, singer, songwriter, and arranger whose dynamic musicianship has taken him from local stages to audiences across the United States and around the world. Known for his explosive energy, deep groove, and versatility across musical styles, Brian is a highly sought after touring and studio musician who has performed as far away as Japan and Poland.

Brian began playing in church at just five years old and was performing professionally by age fifteen alongside jazz artist Dennis Springer. Over the years he has shared the stage with artists including Pleasure, Paul Gilbert, Curtis Salgado, The Drifters, and Linda Hornbuckle. An Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductee and Cascade Blues Association Best Drummer award winner, Brian serves as Musical Director for the Soul Festival and will lead his band, The Gold Experience, bringing world class rhythm and soul to the RCCS stage.
