Immerse Yourself in this Inaugural Festival

A full day dedicated to the art of the cigar and the rhythm of soul music. Held at the iconic Jackie's PDX, this signature event encapsulates the essence of our celebration, bringing together cigar aficionados, music lovers, and spirited souls from every corner. Musical guests include Ronnie Wright, Alea Loren, Isaiah Sims and Tahira Memory!

When: Saturday June 29, 2024 from 12:00p - 9:00p

Where: Jackie’s PDX - 930 SE Sandy, Portland, OR

Stix and Sneakers Brunch: A VIP Exclusive at Kaya PDX

Conclude the Rose City Cigar & Soul Festival with an exclusive gathering that promises sophistication, flavor, and an intimate ambiance. Reserved for festival VIP’s,  the Stix and Sneakers Brunch, hosted at Kaya PDX, offers a distinctive experience to relish in the festival's finale. In partnership with BAES Chicken, Kaya PDX will serve up a southern-inspired brunch that tantalizes the taste buds and warms the soul.

Portland's own Ronnie Wright, a pioneer in soul and gospel music, brings his silky-smooth singer-songwriter talents to the 2024 RCCS Festival.

Celebrated for his eclectic taste, Ronnie's repertoire spans across R&B, soul, jazz, rock, fusion, and gospel, drawing deep inspiration from a diverse array of artists including Commissioned, Musiq Soulchild, The Clark Sisters, Lalah Hathaway, Chick Corea, and Journey. These influences are intricately woven into the fabric of his creativity, shaping a unique sound that resonates with authenticity and passion.

2015 marked a milestone in Ronnie's career with his collaborative project, BESPEAK LOVE, hitting #1 on the UK Soul Charts and earning the title of Artist of the Year (Editor’s Choice) from the acclaimed SoulTracks.com. His solo debut in 2018, a.k.a. BESPEAK, was lauded as Album of the Year by Groundbreakers.com, receiving accolades and awards from the indie radio community worldwide. From a tender age, Tahirah declared her passion for music, a journey deeply rooted in the legacy of her Grammy-winning father, Thara Memory, and enriched by her own eclectic tastes that span old soul, contemporary R&B, and beyond. Her distinctive sound emerges from this tapestry of influences, offering an auditory experience that is both familiar and fresh.

Over the years, Tahirah has honed her craft alongside a diverse array of musicians, weaving her voice through collaborations that transcend genre boundaries. From sharing stages and studios with Portland legends like Andy Stokes and Grammy Award winning bassist Esperanza Spalding to exploring rhythms with latin percussionist Bobby Torres and hip hop duo Lifesavas, her career is a testament to the power of versatility and connection through music. Tahirah Memory's soulful voice not only pays homage to her roots but also paves the way for new explorations in the musical landscape.

His mother, a talented singer and actress, leads a theater company that nurtured Isaiah's profound understanding of performance and narrative.
